    *This is a Full Time position, with 8 hour shifts, primarily 6am-2:30pm or 6:30am-3pm. Primarily Monday through Friday, with flexibility for weekends. Located at Scripps Central Pharmacy in Sorrento Valley. This is a limited tenure assignment for 6 months. *

    The Pharmacy Technician I will be joining the centralized pharmacy department in Sorrento Valley with the*primary responsibility in sterile compounding large quantity batches*. The team is small, but mighty, working in a closed door pharmacy type of setting and they enjoy a steady workload and schedule.

     

    *Experience/Specialized Skills:*

    * High school diploma or equivalent.

    *Required Certification/Registration:*

    * California Board of Pharmacy Certification

    *Required Education/Course(s)/Training:*

    * Certification by National Pharmacy Technician Certification Board preferred.

    * 1 year inpatient experience preferred or hospital externship
