    Position Overview:

    Facilitates smooth flow of patient process from decision to completion of procedure including hospitality, paperwork, payment, logistics and reassurance. Develops, recommends and implements marketing strategies and plans for refractive and interfaces with potential refractive surgery candidates to help them make the best informed decision about their vision needs. Coordinates department education efforts to inform staff about surgery options, benefits and outcomes so that they in turn can provide surgery options, accurate and helpful input to patients.

     

    *Schedule: The regular workday is anticipated to be Wednesdays, with occasional adjustments based on scheduling or coverage requirements.*

    EDUCATION:

    + _Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma._

    + Associate's

    TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:

    2 years recent relevant experience

    SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

    + Knowledge of refractive technology and treatment options and keeping that knowledge current to the with the latest developments and opportunities.

    + Knowledge of marketing and effective presentation process for refractive practices including measurement of marketing effectiveness

    + Ability to effectively communicate, verbally and in writing with potential candidates for refractive surgery.

    + Must be able to demonstrate empathy and understanding of patients’ perspective and needs in a warm and friendly way.

    + Ability to effectively communicate and coordinate with peers and providers to gain cooperation and support for refractive programs within the practice.

    + Good administrative skills including data entry and work processing, mathematical aptitude, effective righting and ability to perform testing and measurement calculations.

    Pay Range is $34.23 to $42.78 / hour

     

    _The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs.
