    Job Title: Telehealth Technology Coordinator

     

    Schedule: Friday–Sunday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (24 hours/week)

     

    Placement Type: Contract (4 months)

    Position Overview

    We are seeking a Telehealth Technology Coordinator (TTC) to support telehealth and connected care programs within a hospital setting. This role ensures the efficiency, ease of use, and reliability of telehealth services for patients and providers.

    The TTC will:

    + Deliver telehealth devices to patient rooms and facilitate virtual consultations, family video visits, and remote rounding.

    + Support virtual interpreting services and post-discharge remote monitoring.

    + Collaborate with Information Services to troubleshoot and maintain telehealth equipment.

    + Assist with administrative tasks, data entry, and patient-facing interactions.

    + Work closely with hospital leadership and the Telehealth Innovation Center to optimize workflows and enhance patient experience.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Coordinate telehealth activities at the patient bedside.

    + Ensure devices are functioning properly and ready for use.

    + Provide compassionate, professional support to patients and families.

    + Document interactions and maintain accurate records in EMR systems.

    + Assist with strategic telehealth initiatives and workflow improvements.

    Required Qualifications

    + Tech-savvy with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

    + Comfortable in patient-facing roles with strong communication skills.

    + Ability to manage administrative and technical tasks in a clinical environment.

    + Associates degree preferred but not required.

    Preferred Skills

    + Familiarity with EMR systems (Epic or similar).

    + Customer service experience in healthcare settings.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Washington, DC.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
