    Purpose of Position

As a key member of the IT leadership team, the Senior Director, Enterprise Applications will provide visionary leadership and strategic direction for the organization’s global portfolio of enterprise application solutions. This leader is accountable for setting the strategy, driving execution, leading high-performing teams, and ensuring that all applications optimally support the business’s customer-centric goals and operational excellence.

In this senior IT leadership role, you will be responsible for shaping and executing the roadmap for enterprise-grade commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) cloud solutions—such as Salesforce CRM, CPQ, CLM, FSM, NetSuite ERP, UKG HRMS, and other business-critical applications, with a cloud-first approach. You will collaborate closely with C-level executives, business unit leaders, and external partners to align IT initiatives with enterprise objectives, maximizing business value and technology ROI.

Reporting directly to the CIO, you will lead and mentor a team of experienced enterprise application professionals, supported by external Application Management Services, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.

    Key Responsibilities

Set and execute the strategic vision for enterprise applications, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and driving innovation across all business units.

Establish and nurture cross-functional business partnerships at the executive level globally, regionally, and locally, prioritizing investments to deliver maximum business impact.

Oversee a substantial portfolio of business applications projects worldwide, ensuring robust governance, change management, and adherence to best practices throughout the project lifecycle.

Lead the IT Mergers, Acquisitions & Divestitures (M&A&D) function for core enterprise applications, managing seamless integrations and optimizing synergies post-acquisition.

Champion a cloud-first strategy, leveraging COTS solutions to enhance scalability, reliability, and flexibility while minimizing non-strategic customizations.

Develop organizational capability through coaching, mentoring, and upskilling, building a world-class team capable of delivering innovative solutions that drive the business forward.

Serve as a thought leader and change agent, inspiring teams to deliver transformative technology solutions that redefine how the organization operates and competes in the market.

Promote a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performance culture in alignment with the IT organization’s values and strategic vision.

Ensure robust application support models, stringent change control, and compliance with all relevant data protection, security, and regulatory requirements (e.g., SOC II, ISO 27001).

Measure and communicate business impact through KPIs, strategic initiative outcomes, and Voice of Customer feedback, driving continuous process improvement and operational excellence.

    Measures of Success

Achievement of annual enterprise strategy objectives and business KPIs through effective technology enablement.

Uptime, stability, and performance of enterprise applications measured against agreed SLAs and industry benchmarks.

Delivery of strategic initiatives on time, within scope, and on budget.

Execution and integration of M&A activities involving enterprise applications.

High levels of user satisfaction and engagement measured through formal feedback mechanisms.

Continuous improvement in solution delivery, innovation pipeline, and organizational readiness for future challenges.

    Qualifications & Experience

    Personal Traits

Strategic thinker with a passion for driving transformation and challenging the status quo.

Inspirational leader, mentor, and team builder with a growth mindset.

Results-driven, highly accountable, and adept at operating in dynamic, fast-paced environments.

Excellent communicator, able to influence at all levels and articulate complex technical concepts in business-friendly terms.

Innovative, agile, and globally oriented; comfortable leading through uncertainty and ambiguity.
