About the role

As a **Senior Developer – SAS and SQL** , you will make an impact by designing and implementing robust data integration solutions that enable seamless data flow across systems. You will be a valued member of our technology team and collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders to optimize data processes and support business intelligence needs.

In this role, you will:

+ Develop and implement data integration solutions using **SAS** and **SQL** to ensure efficient and accurate data flow.

+ Design and maintain complex **ETL processes** , connecting to multiple data sources and performing transformations.

+ Collaborate with business and technical teams to gather requirements and align solutions with organizational objectives.

+ Optimize existing data processes to improve performance and reliability.

+ Provide technical expertise in SQL for troubleshooting and resolving data-related issues.

What you need to have to be considered

+ 7–9 years of experience in **data integration and development** .

+ Strong proficiency in **SAS** and **SQL** , with a proven track record of building and optimizing complex queries.

+ Expertise in designing and implementing **ETL processes** and data models.

+ Ability to troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues promptly.

+ Excellent problem-solving skills and experience working in collaborative environments.

These will help you stand out

+ Experience mentoring junior developers and fostering team collaboration.

+ Knowledge of data governance practices and compliance standards.

+ Familiarity with emerging technologies and trends in data integration.

+ Strong documentation skills for processes and solutions.

**Salary and Other Compensation** :

Applications will be accepted until November 18, 2025

The annual salary for this position is between $ 90,000 - $ 109,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
