Position Overview:
The IAM -PAM Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise privileged access solutions to protect critical systems and sensitive data. This role ensures secure management of privileged accounts, credentials, and secrets across on-premises and cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Administer and support PAM platforms (e.g., CyberArk, BeyondTrust, HashiCorp Vault, Delinea/Thycotic).
+ Onboard, manage, and monitor privileged accounts, service accounts, and application credentials.
+ Implement and enforce password policies, credential rotation, and access workflows.
+ Integrate PAM solutions with identity management, ticketing, and SIEM systems.
+ Configure and maintain session management, auditing, and reporting for privileged access.
+ Troubleshoot PAM-related issues and support compliance with security standards.
+ Develop automation scripts (e.g., PowerShell, Python) for PAM operations and reporting.
+ Collaborate with IT, security, and application teams to ensure secure access practices.
+ Support audits and provide evidence for regulatory and internal compliance.
Qualifications:
+ Experience with one or more PAM platforms (e.g., CyberArk, BeyondTrust, HashiCorp Vault, Delinea).
+ Strong understanding of identity and access management, security best practices, and compliance frameworks.
+ Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid environments.
+ Scripting skills (PowerShell, Python) for automation and integration.
+ Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation abilities.

Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $[136,500 - 160,000] depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
