The Field Technician Performance Operations will coordinate all maintenance and repair activities for assigned solar commercial solar facilities. Provide repair recommendations based on costs and potential lost revenue. Report all scheduled site outages and file claims with EPC and OEM for work covered by warranty. Support project managers on capital projects with site commissioning, quality inspections, and punch list walkthroughs. Serve as primary point of contact for site landowners, utility companies and support vendors. Adhere to all CEV policies, procedures, and recommend process improvements to management.
Major Responsibilities
• Manage communications effectively and professionally with contractors, landowners, and utility personnel.
• Monitor system alerts and alarms; analyze performance of solar facilities to identify signs of issues or under performance.
• Coordinate outages, troubleshoot problems, implement corrective actions, and track reliability issues.
• Coordinate with EPC, utilities, support contractors, and original equipment manufacturer (OEM) to support maintenance activities and, track all required repair and maintenance activities.
• Operate and understand all installed equipment.
• Ensure all site work complies with OEM requirements and warranties.
• Maintain solar facility specific data including warranty information, as-built documents, equipment manuals, photographs, test reports, repair order history, preventative maintenance reports.
• Assist with the review, negotiation and enforcement of language in O&M, EPC and OEM warranty documents.
• Perform troubleshooting, repairs and maintenance activities at solar facilities maintained by CEV.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams (analysts, customer care, engineering and project management) to resolve complex issues.
• Maintain accurate and site appropriate equipment inventories
Position Requirements:
• Associate or technical degree in a related field. or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in operations, engineering, and project management.
• Travel Requirements: Approximately 10% travel, including overnight stays at solar sites throughout the Northeast region.

Job Location Type is Remote; however, candidates must reside in Connecticut.
Other Details:
Compensation: Expected base pay range for this role will be $76,400- $97,300.
Base pay is based on several factors including, experience, skills, and knowledge.
This role will be eligible to participate in an annual short term incentive program.
