Job Title: School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Start Date: ASAP

Contract Length: Remainder of the 2025–2026 School Year

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM

Hours/Week: 37.5 hours/week

Job Description:

The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) will provide school-based therapy services to students in grades K–5. Responsibilities include conducting evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans, delivering therapy, and maintaining documentation in accordance with physician orders and student care plans.

Responsibilities:

+ Conduct speech and language evaluations

+ Develop and implement individualized therapy plans

+ Provide direct therapy services to students

+ Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families

+ Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports

Caseload:

+ Approximately 35–40 students (lower than average for most districts)

Qualifications:

+ Active North Carolina SLP license (required)

+ Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred

+ Clinical Fellows (CF) may be considered

+ Current CPR certification (if applicable)

+ TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest x-ray (if applicable)

+ Current health certificate (per contract/state regulation)
