Job Title: School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Length: Through the 2025–2026 School Year
Schedule: Full-Time (Flexible options available)
Hours/Week: 37.5 hours/week
Job Description:
The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) will provide in-person therapy services to K–12 students across multiple school sites in Cumberland County. Responsibilities include conducting evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans, delivering therapy, and maintaining documentation in accordance with physician orders and student care plans.
This district is actively seeking support due to very high caseloads, and offers flexibility for both full-time and part-time candidates. You’ll be working directly with a collaborative team, including the Lead SLP and other professionals.
Responsibilities:
+ Conduct speech and language evaluations
+ Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
+ Provide direct therapy services to students
+ Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families
+ Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
Qualifications:
+ Active North Carolina SLP license (required)
+ Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
+ Clinical Fellows (CF) may be considered
+ Current CPR certification (if applicable)
