Behavior-Mental Health Paraprofessional (Elementary School)
Do you have a passion for supporting children’s mental health and helping them succeed in school? Join our team as a Behavior-Mental Health Paraprofessional and make a meaningful difference in the lives of elementary students every day.
What You’ll Do:
+ Work 1:1 with elementary students who need behavioral or emotional support.
+ Help students build coping skills and navigate daily challenges.
+ Support classroom routines and lead therapeutic activities like calming strategies or social skills groups.
+ Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and clinical staff to create a safe and supportive learning environment.
+ Be a trusted adult who helps students feel seen, heard, and supported.
What We’re Looking For:
+ Associate Degree required.
+ Experience in mental health, behavioral support, or developmental disabilities (school or clinical setting).
+ Strong communication skills and a caring, patient approach.
+ A team player who’s ready to jump in and make a difference.
