CTG’s Fortune 500 client of over 15 years is seeking an Assistant Plant Controller / Senior Cost Accountant for a W2 contract assignment.

**Location:** Keene, NH
**Pay Rate:** $53.65–$55.95/hour
**Schedule:** Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM
**Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration strongly preferred
Overview
The Assistant Plant Controller will support the Plant Controller in managing financial operations for a manufacturing facility generating approximately $80M in annual revenue. This role focuses on accounting compliance, cost accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis while identifying opportunities for process improvement.
Key Responsibilities
+ Manage month-end close, ensure general ledger accuracy, and perform account reconciliations
+ Analyze variances and provide actionable insights to plant management
+ Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and five-year financial planning
+ Set and monitor standard costs, inventory costing, and cost allocations
+ Prepare financial reports and presentations for divisional and corporate leadership
+ Support capital projects, cost reduction initiatives, and SOX/statutory reporting
Requirements
+ 5+ years of experience as an Assistant Plant Controller in a manufacturing environment
+ ERP experience (Epicor preferred) and advanced Excel skills
+ Strong understanding of US GAAP and internal financial controls
+ Proven ability to analyze data and communicate insights to stakeholders
Preferred Education/Certifications
+ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
+ CPA or MBA a plus

+ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
+ Collaborative and proactive problem solver
+ Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting
