CTG is seeking a Data Solution Architect to design and deliver enterprise-grade data platforms and solutions that enable advanced analytics and business intelligence. This role blends cloud architecture, data engineering, and regulatory compliance to build secure, scalable, and modern data solutions.

**Location:** Buffalo, NY

**Duration:** 6 months

Key Responsibilities:

+ Design and implement cloud-based data platforms (Azure Data Lake, Databricks, Kafka).

+ Build ETL/ELT pipelines to integrate data from legacy systems, SaaS platforms, and real-time streams.

+ Deploy data warehouses, lakehouses, and analytics environments (Snowflake, Power BI).

+ Define and enforce data governance, metadata management, and data quality standards.

+ Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture to ensure alignment with standards and roadmaps.

+ Evaluate new data technologies and lead proof-of-concept projects.

+ Produce architecture diagrams, data flow maps, and technical documentation.

+ Guide Agile/DevOps teams on CI/CD, automated testing, and infrastructure-as-code.

Qualifications:

+ Bachelor’s/Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

+ 5+ years in solution architecture or technical implementation; 2+ years in data engineering/enterprise data platforms.

+ Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP), containerization (Kubernetes), and DevOps practices.

+ Strong understanding of financial systems, regulations, and compliance standards.

+ Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred:

+ AWS/Azure Solutions Architect or Certified Data Engineer certifications.

+ Experience with scalable financial systems, streaming analytics, or automated data quality frameworks.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
