Summary You will serve as a Emergency Management Specialist in the Emergency Management HQ Division (N37) of NAVSTA MAYPORT. Responsibilities You will oversee the development of risk models, technology, equipment, and information management systems to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of organization's emergency dispatch program. You will resolve critical emergency management situations that affect organization wide operations. You will manage the acquisition of specialized emergency management equipment. You will develop emergency management processes, plans, procedures, training and guidance for compliance with established emergency management directives, regulations, civil rights laws, and standards. You will integrate cross functional teams policies and resources in support of emergency management program requirements. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least two years of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Provides technical, analytical, and administrative support, to develop and maintain Region and installation-level EM plans that align with applicable plans, procedures, and policies of other Services and federal organizations and agencies; Researches, compiles, sorts, and evaluates information and data to determine its relevance and applicability to Regional EM requirements; Coordinates with existing assessments and integrates their findings into the final risk calculation; Identifies hazards and determines their relative probability of occurrence and associated consequence factors and performs a capability assessment to determine associated needs from capability shortfalls.
