Ensure you have access to a valid email / * / Qualified applicants will be contacted to schedule a phone screen. / * Post-Offer Background Check required * Drug Screen required * Job Summary:* Responsible for organizing and tracking training for hourly production employees . * Essential Functions/Duties and Responsibilities:* • Review and organize training plans • Collaborating with Supervisors to determine employees areas of improvement • Direct and coordinate production training activities and priorities to obtain maximum efficiency of training competencies aligned with production department goals • Maintain and track training paperwork for hourly employees • Identify training gaps and take appropriate steps to close the gap • Assure all employee training checklists are being completed on time • Meet with each employee in training to ensure training is being conducted • Follow company GMP’s (Good Manufacturing Practices) • Maintain a clean and safe work environment • Follow all safety rules and policies • Follow all general work rules and policies • Supports continuous improvement initiatives • Support employee retention initiatives • Other duties as assigned * Qualifications:* • High School Diploma or equivalent • Proven leadership skills • Bilingual preferred • Ability to improve unity of the production department with other areas * Required Skills/Abilities:* • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating, and procedure manuals • Ability to write correspondence, ability to speak effectively to employees of the organization • Excellent computer skills • Excellent communication skills • Experience in Excel, Outlook, Word • Must be able to read, write, and speak English • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or scheduled form • Food manufacturing experience a plus • Experience with Digital Production Systems (Redzone), and ERP Systems (i.e., Microsoft Dynamics 365, SAP, Oracle) a plus • Demonstrates a passion for safety and supports safe work practices. * Physical Demands and Work Environment:* • Ability to lift 40 pounds repetitively • Ability to bend, twist, and stand on your feet for an entire shift • Exposed to food production environment and warehouse environment which may involve noise and fluctuating temperatures.
