    As an Automation Welder level 3 here at Honeywell, here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our automated welding operations. You will be responsible for performing advanced welding tasks using automated equipment and mentoring junior welders, contributing to the overall success of our projects.

     

    You will work out of our Palmetto, FL location on an onsite work schedule.

     

    In this role, you will impact the success of our operations by delivering high-quality welds that meet stringent specifications, thus ensuring the integrity and durability of our products through automation.

     

    This position is a 3rd shift with the hours 11:00pm-7:00am Monday - Friday with starting pay $23.30/hr + off shift pay differential

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    + Operate and maintain automated welding equipment to perform high-quality welds on various materials.

    + Mentor and train junior welders on automated welding techniques and best practices.

    + Conduct inspections and tests on automated welds to verify quality and make necessary adjustments.

    YOU MUST HAVE

    + 6+ years of relevant welding experience, particularly in automated welding processes.

    + Ability to work at heights and confined spaces

    + Strong knowledge of automated welding techniques and materials, including MIG, TIG, and Stick welding.

    + Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.

    + Experience with welding inspection and quality control processes.

    + Familiarity with safety protocols and regulations in a welding environment.

    WE VALUE

    + High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in welding are a plus.

    + Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment with a focus on automation.

    + Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

    + Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

    + Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
