    As a Region Unbilled AR Champion here at Honeywell Building Solutions (HBS), you will play a crucial role in championing unbilled accounts receivables within your designated region. You will be responsible for driving the accurate and timely processing of project billing, ensuring compliance with accounting policies and procedures, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve Unbilled discrepancies and issues.

     

    You will report directly to our Global Unbilled AR Leader and you will work out of our Atlanta, GA location on a hybrid work schedule.

     

    In this role, you will have a significant impact on the financial performance of your region by minimizing unbilled balances, improving cash flow, and maintaining strong relationships with internal stakeholders.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Champion the unbilled accounts receivable function within your region

    • Drive the accurate and timely processing of unbilled balances

    • Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve unbilled discrepancies and issues

    • Monitor and analyze unbilled AR balances and aging within your region and providing Global Unbilled Leader with periodic analysis and forecasting

    • Develop and implement strategies to minimize unbilled balances and improve cash flow

    • Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders within your region

    YOU MUST HAVE

    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project accounting or related roles

    • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices

    • Attention to detail and ability to analyze financial data

    • Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

    • Experience in driving unbilled AR processes and best practices

    • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities

    • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams

    • Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel and use of SAP (ERP)/Project Management Software

    • Knowledge of regional industry knowledge, accounting regulations and requirements
