Key Responsibilities:
+ The S&OP and Inventory Integrator role will lead best in class Deliver S&OP process for the MedTech distribution center, ensuring a robust rolling 12-24 month forecast for the site and a cadence of strategic engagement with franchise partners is achieved to identify, evaluate and collaboratively address capacity constraints, cost and opportunities to drive improvements in OTIF-D and service levels.
+ Partner with the PLAN functional leads and act as the point of contact in the PIC COE for S&OP and inventory – this will include E&O management, project support to reduce inventory, and gross to net inventory analysis for Trauma franchise.
+ Lead and develop robust scenario modeling capabilities focused on reducing risk, lowering cost, and optimizing inventory
+ Accountable for understanding and translating volumes from planning and providing a clear hand off to our distribution teams so that appropriate planning can take place to achieve all critical metrics.
+ Prepare or facilitate preparation of vital DC data that clearly highlights the DC performance and gaps while working on an E2E basis with Segment Deliver and Planning teams.
+ Expectations of this role is a very hands-on approach that can develop digital capabilities, working closely with the DC Leadership team and logistics provider to clearly translate the impacts of changes in forecast to the broader organization.
+ This role will have a complete understanding of the current operational model (Cost per Case) and how external forces impact the financial applications of this model.
+ This leader will achieve strategic engagement between franchise supply chain functions and deliver supporting team members, lead preparation activities, conduct and facilitate analysis supporting the S&OP process. Closing any capability or performance gaps within the E2E supply chain will be a key goal for this role.
+ Ensure adequate structure and cadence of engagements with franchise partners is in place to facilitate weekly prioritization and STEM / S&OE actions and communications.
+ This role is an exciting opportunity to lead strategic change in collaboration with a sophisticated network of supply chain and deliver partners supporting the Ortho business units throughout the US (DePuy Joints, DePuy Spine, Synthes Spine, Synthes Trauma / CMF, Mitek, Cerenovus, and Power Tools).
+ Engage with franchise planning partners and distribution logistics provider to ensure inventory accuracy between the site and franchise ERP/Planning systems is achieved.
+ In addition, this role engages with franchise planning partners and distribution leadership team to enable strategic capacity management and ensure timely disposition of quarantined, slow moving and obsolete inventory.
Qualifications:
**Education:** A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent University degree is required; focused degree in Concentration in Business, Logistics, or Engineering is preferred.
Required:
+ Minimum six (6) years of relevant professional work experience
+ Experience in logistics/supply chain/finance
+ Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with proven track record to effectively lead, resolve conflicts, and influence change
+ Ability to collaborate and build strong partnerships internally with key cross-functional senior partners
+ Experience building functional excellence and driving continuous improvement plans
Preferred:
+ Proven expertise and ability to lead change through a collaborative S&OP process
+ Strong analytical/digital skillet is crucial, experience in digital enablement/transformation activities
+ Experience with evaluation and development of inbound / outbound forecasts, data conversion to support distribution modeling, constraint identification, or cost/ trade-off decision support
+ Strong business acumen and understanding of the E2E supply chain is required. Expertise in core planning processes
+ Ability to lead change through analytics and navigate E2E tradeoffs
+ Experience in New Product Introduction
+ Experience with strategic inventory management, inventory synch, reserve, or SLOB resolution processes
+ Experience working with Third Party Logistics (3PL) providers
+ Lean skills to translate the data insights into recommendations about flow and pull preferred. Lean Green Belt

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :
$102,000 -$177,100/yr.
