Position Summary:
The Director of System Orthopedic Logistics will serve as a strategic leader responsible for driving transformational programs across the orthopedic supply chain ecosystem. This role will oversee the design, implementation, and optimization of end-to-end logistics operations, including the technical support of a state-of-the-art distribution center, deployment of digital technologies, and operations of a value added service center. The Director will collaborate closely with senior leaders across Commercial, Supply Chain, IT, Quality, and Operations to ensure seamless execution and measurable impact.
Key Responsibilities:
+ **Strategic Leadership:** Lead the execution of a comprehensive end-to-end distribution strategy for North America logistic, focusing on four pillars: People, Process, Automation, and Technology.
+ **Program Execution:** Oversee high-impact initiatives including the support of atechnology distribution center, implementation of orthopedic digital applications, and end to end systems support.
+ **Cross-Functional Collaboration:** Build and maintain strong partnerships with key stakeholders including Commercial, Supply Chain Leadership, IT, Quality, Customer Service, and Mooresville site leadership to ensure alignment and successful delivery of strategic programs.
+ **Team Development & Culture:** Lead and develop a high-performing team of 6–8 professionals, fostering a culture of inclusion, continuous learning, and excellence.
+ **Innovation & Benchmarking:** Drive outside-in thinking by leveraging external insights and internal benchmarking to shape the future state of orthopedic logistics and adopt global best practices.
+ **Program Governance:** Identify and manage interdependencies across top initiatives, resolve conflicts, and proactively address stakeholder concerns to ensure program continuity and success.
Qualifications:
**Education:** A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent University degree is required; An advanced degree is preferred.
Required:
+ Minimum ten (10) years of relevant professional work experience
+ Progressive experience in supply chain, logistics, or operations.
+ Experience in people leadership with a proven track record of team development.
+ Experience in orthopedic distribution or related medical technology logistics.
+ Demonstrated expertise in distribution systems, operational excellence, and large-scale program management.
+ Strategic thinker with the ability to navigate complexity and synthesize large volumes of data into actionable insights.
+ Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
+ Collaborative mindset with strong relationship management capabilities.
+ Proven ability to lead through ambiguity and drive change in dynamic environments.
+ Commitment to fostering an inclusive and positive organizational culture.
Other:
+ May require up to 25% of domestic and/or international travel to other locations and sites to support program execution and stakeholder engagement

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :
$150,000 - $258,750/yr.

Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)). This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s long-term incentive program.
