We are seeking an experienced **Area Manager** to oversee fiber construction projects in **Mount Vernon, WA** . In this role you will oversee all phases of fiber network construction projects, leading teams of project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure successful, on-time, and compliant delivery. This role manages project execution, resource allocation, and vendor relations while maintaining strict quality, safety, and budget standards. The Area Manager also serves as the primary liaison for clients, municipalities, and utility partners, ensuring clear communication and operational excellence across all projects.

The Role
+ Manage and lead a team of project managers, engineers, and contractors, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure efficient project execution
+ Supervise all aspects of telecommunications projects from inception to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with industry standards and regulations
+ Negotiate contracts with vendors and subcontractors
+ Oversee contract fulfillment, ensuring compliance and addressing any issues that arise
+ Monitor construction processes to ensure all work meets quality standards and adheres to safety regulations
+ Implement quality control checks and balances to maintain high standards
+ Allocate resources effectively, including labor, materials, and equipment, to optimize productivity and minimize costs
+ Serve as the primary point of contact for all project stakeholders, including clients, local government entities, and utility companies, to ensure clear and consistent communication
+ Prepare detailed reports on project status, budgeting, compliance, and other critical factors
+ Maintain accurate records for all construction activities
+ Quickly address and resolve any issues or challenges that arise during the construction process to avoid delays or cost overruns
+ Continuously seek innovative solutions and improvements in project management and construction techniques to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
+ Ensure all construction activities comply with local, state, and federal regulations and environmental guidelines
+ Other duties as assigned
Requirements
+ Proven leadership skills and the ability to effectively manage others
+ Experience in the Telecom industry or related field is a plus
+ An equivalent combination of education and experience that is determined to be directly related to the position
+ Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to communicate effectively across different levels of an organization
+ Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
+ Proficient in time management skills with ability to meet strict deadlines
+ Strong understanding of business and management principles
+ Functional knowledge of Google Suite, MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point)
+ Must provide a valid government-issued photo ID for verification; a driver’s license is required if the role involves driving
