VIE Ability CSR
CABVI (Cincinnati Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired) is currently seeking a part-timeVIE Ability CSR to provide support for one of our social enterprises,VIE Ability, which fulfills, prepares, and delivers office supplies and other orders for Vie-Ability creating employment opportunities for people who have vision loss. This position reports to the VIE Ability Customer Experience Manager. The principal responsibilities for this position include:
Job Summary:
Duties/Responsibilities:
• Responds to inbound/outbound calls with the highest standards of professionalism and customer service.
• Fulfills customer order requests, research and resolves customer problems.
• Escalates issues up resolution chain when appropriate.
• Communicates responsibilities between counterparts.
• Consistently and accurately maintains records of customer interactions and transactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, and comments, as well as actions taken.
• Maintains strict confidentiality of sensitive customer and company information.
• Promotes a positive team environment.
• Contributes to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the department by performing other tasks, duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
• Associate degree in a related field and/or minimum of 3 years of experience in a Customer Service or Contact Center/Call Center environment preferred.
Required Skills/Abilities:
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
• Excellent interpersonal skills that include active listening and prompt response.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to spend extended periods of time at a workstation while using a headset, telephone, and computer.
• Proficiency with screen-magnification software, if needed.
