About the Role
We’re looking for a dynamic EHR Patient Financial Systems Manager to lead and inspire our IT team while driving innovation in patient financial systems. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, loves optimizing processes, and is passionate about delivering exceptional service to both internal teams and patients.
What You’ll Do
Serve as an escalation point and backup for other IT Managers, stepping in for the Director of Enterprise Applications when needed.
Lead process improvement initiatives—design, optimize, and implement workflows that make a real impact.
Mentor IT Managers and team members, fostering growth and building strong, capable teams.
Oversee EHR Access, HIM, and Revenue Cycle staff, ensuring best practices in application stewardship (documentation, version control, testing, etc.).
Build and guide the Access, HIM, and Revenue Cycle solutions team for successful project delivery and ongoing support.
Maintain strong communication with providers, clinical departments, and IT leadership to ensure seamless collaboration.
Drive customer service excellence, resolving issues promptly and effectively.
Define clear roles, responsibilities, and priorities for application teams.
Lead vendor/product evaluations and participate in strategic committees.
Stay ahead of industry trends through continuous learning and professional development.
Act as the primary liaison for leadership in operations and clinical departments for patient financial systems implementation and support.
Collaborate on workflow assessments, system configuration, testing, and training.
Champion optimization projects and maintain expertise as EHR systems evolve.

Skills and Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred. Equivalent healthcare experience considered.
Experience:
5+ years in healthcare
4+ years in management
2+ years working with Epic systems
Epic Certification or demonstrated Epic proficiency is required
Strong knowledge of EHR third-party applications (eligibility, claims clearing, content management) preferred.
Expertise in Access, HIM, and Revenue Cycle processes (registration, scheduling, billing, coding).
Proven ability to lead teams, manage priorities, and deliver results under pressure.
