    Job Summary:

    Essential Duties/Principal Responsibilities:

    + Manage/coordinate the monthly global consolidation of the company’s financial statements.

    + Prepare select internal and external reporting schedules/reporting requirements (for example, external balance sheet, income statement, statement of cash flows, and Reg G schedules).

    + Review the consolidated statement of cash flows, determine the need for adjusting entries, and provide guidance to global accounting organization.

    + Review and validate financial data reported by businesses in OneStream on a monthly basis (over 200 reporting entities). Work with finance personnel as needed to resolve any reporting issues/matters.

    + Review and coordinate with regional controllers regarding quarterly and annual forms to be used in SEC filings (Forms 10-Q and 10-K).

    + Support global consolidation reporting software (OneStream) activities, including being the key coordinator/approver of metadata changes and providing security oversight.

    + Assist with financial audits, prepare audit schedules and interface with external auditors on consolidation and cash flow matters.

    + Maintain control procedures associated with the global consolidation process. Maintain the proper documentation of internal controls to support compliance with Sarbanes Oxley.

    + Work with other functions including tax and treasury to provide necessary data for regulatory and other reporting requirements.

    + Review/facilitate the reconciliation of Intercompany reports for AR/AP, Interest, Royalty etc.

    + Responsible for maintaining company-wide tracking of intercompany investments and related consolidation/elimination entries.

    + Manage the preparation and consolidation of all census forms for Xylem Inc. as required.

    + Assist the Controller, Corporate with special projects as required.

    Minimum Qualifications: Education, Experience, Skills, Abilities, License/Certification:

    + Degree in Accounting; CPA or MBA preferred but not required.

    + 7+ years of relevant experience including experience working in a large global corporation.

    + Strong analytical and financial reporting skills.

    + Strong technical capability with Excel, as well as other Financial software such as Oracle, Blackline, GEP Smart and OneStream

    + Ability to work with both a variety of management and staff levels.

    + Able to set priorities and meet deadlines in a changing environment with minimal supervision.

    + Ability to manage staff along with managing individual responsibilities.
