• High Touch Network Engineer

    Job Description

    Insight Global is hiring a High Touch Network Engineer to support one of its leading technology clients. In this hybrid role, you’ll be responsible for keeping the client’s network stable and high-performing. You will monitor telemetry data from physical and virtual devices (including AVS), troubleshoot Nexus switch issues, and lead investigations into major outages. You’ll collaborate closely with operations teams and internal engineers to resolve high-severity cases, provide proactive recommendations, and ensure the network can handle demanding workloads such as AI and cloud services.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    7+ years of hands-on experience configuring, operating, and troubleshooting Cisco Nexus 3000 and 9000 platforms.

     

    Experience with real-time telemetry streaming systems for network monitoring and diagnostics.

     

    Proven ability to resolve SEV1/SEV2 issues in large-scale enterprise or hyperscale environments.

     

    Strong background in supporting complex data center infrastructure, including ACI and NX-OS.

     

    Experience in a client-facing role providing technical support and managing escalations. Experience with Cisco AVS in virtualized environments.

     

    Experience with Python/Linux scripting experience for automation or telemetry data parsing.

     

    CCIE Certification or Equivalent.
