Job Description Summary
We are seeking a skilled Azure Operations Engineer with expertise in FinOps and experience with the SaaS Asset Records application to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing our Azure cloud infrastructure while ensuring cost efficiency and financial accountability. This role requires a strong technical background in Azure cloud operations, a deep understanding of FinOps principles, and hands-on experience with SaaS Asset Records to drive cost optimization and financial transparency.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities** **:
Azure Cloud Operations:
+ Manage and monitor Azure cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability, scalability, and performance.
+ Implement and maintain cloud governance policies, security protocols, and compliance standards.
+ Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Azure services, networking, and performance.
FinOps Management:
+ Analyze cloud usage and spend to identify cost-saving opportunities.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement cost optimization strategies.
+ Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to provide visibility into cloud costs and usage.
+ Educate teams on FinOps best practices and promote a culture of financial accountability.
SaaS Asset Records Application:
+ Manage and optimize the **SaaS Asset Records application** to ensure accurate tracking and reporting of cloud assets.
+ Leverage the application to improve asset utilization, cost allocation, and financial reporting.
+ Provide insights and recommendations based on data from SaaS Asset Records to support decision-making.
Automation and Optimization:
+ Design and implement automation scripts for cloud resource provisioning, scaling, and monitoring.
+ Optimize workloads and recommend architectural changes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
Collaboration and Communication:
+ Work closely with development, operations, and finance teams to align cloud usage with business goals.
+ Provide technical guidance and support to ensure smooth operations and cost-effective solutions.
**Minimum Requirements** :
+ Bachelors degree in Computer Science or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math preferred) and 3+ years of experience with Azure.

**Technical Expertise** :
+ In-depth experience with multi-disciplined technology stack across systems and network LAN
+ CCIE Security, CCIE Service Provider certifications in conjunction with the Data Center and Routing & Switching disciplines
+ CCIE Data Center and Routing & Switching certification or demonstrated equivalency
+ Expert level skills in design, architecture and development, with an ability to take a deep dive in the implementation aspects if the situation demands
+ Expert in core data structures as well as algorithms and has the ability to implement them using a language of choice when necessary – as a value offering
**Business Acumen** :
+ Subject matter expert in processes and methodologies with ability to adapt and improvise in various situations. Expert in navigating through ambiguity and prioritizing conflicting asks.
+ Demonstrated customer focus – evaluates decisions through the eyes of the customer; builds strong customer relationships; creates processes with customer viewpoint; partners with customers to help shape their future initiatives
+ Ability to balance multiple priorities simultaneously and capability to focus engineering effort during times of need
