Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide high-quality physical therapy services and help patients achieve their functional goals.

Responsibilities:

+ Implement treatment plans developed by the supervising Physical Therapist

+ Deliver therapeutic exercises, manual techniques, and modalities as appropriate

+ Monitor patient performance and report progress or changes to the Physical Therapist

+ Instruct patients in safe and effective home exercise programs

+ Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with company and regulatory standards

+ Educate patients and families about therapy goals, safety, and treatment expectations

+ Assist in maintaining clinic organization and ensuring a safe, clean environment

+ Participate in team meetings and contribute to coordinated patient care

+ Support quality improvement and continuing education initiatives

Qualifications

+ Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program

+ Current Texas PTA license

+ Valid BLS/CPR certification

+ Solid understanding of physical therapy principles and modalities

+ Strong interpersonal, communication, and patient engagement skills

+ Excellent documentation and electronic medical record (EMR) proficiency

+ Ability to work collaboratively as part of an interdisciplinary team

+ Commitment to patient-centered care and ongoing professional growth

+ Experience or interest in orthopedics, sports medicine, or outpatient care preferred
