Description
The Department of Psychiatry is seeking a full-time Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist with interest and experience in Consultation Liaison and Emergency Psychiatry. This position is head-quartered in the Department of Psychiatry’s Child and Adolescent Division and will have both clinical and educational responsibilities with the Pediatric Psychiatry Consultation and Liaison Service and Brighter Days Pediatric Mental Health Urgent Care. There are opportunities for research and scholarship in the faculty member’s area of expertise.
This full-time position includes an academic faculty appointment with University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry at a rank commensurate with experience and accomplishments, and ample opportunities for faculty development within a robust tradition of mentorship. It will also include a medical staff appointment at Strong Memorial Hospital located in Rochester, NY.

Compensation includes an excellent, nationally competitive base salary,
with bonus/moonlighting opportunities, annual CME allotment, and a generous benefits package through the University with a retirement program and tuition benefits.

Must obtain NYS licensure & unrestricted DEA prior to start

The referenced pay range represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the base range of compensation for this faculty position. Individual salaries will be determined within the job’s salary range and established based on (but not limited to) market data, experience and expertise of the individual, and with consideration to related position salaries. Alignment of clinical incentive-based compensation may also be applicable and will be discussed during the hiring process.
