    What you'll do...

     

    Join Walmart’s Technology Operations team as a Staff member responsible for overseeing program management, financial planning, and risk mitigation within technology initiatives. This role involves coordinating cross-functional efforts, monitoring project progress against milestones, and ensuring alignment with business objectives. The successful candidate will apply strong stakeholder management and communication skills to influence decision-making and drive operational excellence.     About the team:

    The APEX Program Management, Strategy & Operations pillar leads key initiatives to enhance associate and visitor experiences while driving cost efficiencies. This team manages strategic planning, execution, and performance monitoring, ensuring alignment across functions and effective stakeholder engagement. They maintain organizational rhythm and represent the area externally, fostering collaboration and clear communication. With expertise in program management, financial oversight, and data analysis, the team supports complex projects aligned with business goals, delivering measurable results and continuous improvement within Walmart’s operational framework.

    What you'll do:

    + Coordinate with stakeholders to design and deliver financial management features and reporting supporting APEX governance.

    + Establish and manage APEX governance processes, communication plans, and data-driven decision-making to optimize investment, efficiency, and resource planning.

    + Collaborate with APEX leaders to monitor cloud budgets, drive cost goals, and implement best practices.

    + Manage communication and analytics around cost optimization and P&L for the Portfolio.

    + Lead Annual Operating and Long-Range Planning (AOP and LRP), aligning with strategy and facilitating reviews with senior leaders.

    + Partner with Finance, HR, and EBS to implement governance frameworks, track KPIs, and optimize financial processes.

    + Maintain transparent documentation and enhance forecast accuracy.

    What you'll bring:

    + Proven expertise in program management, including estimation, planning, monitoring, and control of medium-complexity projects.

    + Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, financial planning, and cost monitoring across multiple projects.

    + Technical understanding of technology strategies, systems, and market standards to align projects with business objectives.

    + Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to influence, build consensus, and present data-driven recommendations.

    + Ability to assess risks, implement mitigation strategies, and maintain program health under changing conditions.

    + Experience in contract management and coordinating cross-functional teams to achieve strategic goals.

    + Analytical skills to support business decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.

    + Knowledge of systems related to headcounts and financials (e.g., Coupa, Team Rosters, Clipper)

    The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $180,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
