+ Join a dynamic and collaborative general surgery team in a growing specialty line as an Inpatient Advanced Practice Provider (APP)

+ Highly motivated and skilled APP to support our dedicated general surgeons in providing exceptional, patient-centered care.

+ Patient-focused team providing high-quality care in a dynamic inpatient setting, with flexibility to float to the outpatient clinic when needed.

+ Fully integrated system with clinic and hospitals on Epic EMR to improve care coordination

Responsibilities

+ Full-Time opportunity

+ Primarily in patient-focused will be inpatient general surgery patients

+ OR surgical first assist, inpatient rounding, post-operative management, and discharge planning

+ Conduct independent assessments and manage pre-/post-operative care

+ Inpatient census 8-15 patients

+ Interpret imaging and lab results; develop and coordinate follow-up treatment plans

+ Outpatient clinic as needed

+ Evening and weekend call coverage as needed.

+ Collaborate with surgeons and multidisciplinary staff to ensure quality patient outcomes

Qualifications

+ Licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

+ Board Certified

+ 1–2 years of experience preferred in an inpatient or surgical specialty

+ Licensed (or eligible) in the state of Iowa

+ DEA and prescribing authority in Iowa

+ Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
