As a Nuclear Medicine PET/CT Technologist, you will perform advanced diagnostic imaging procedures using PET/CT and Nuclear Medicine technology to support accurate diagnoses and treatment planning. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure precise, high-quality imaging results. The ideal candidate is ARRT or NMTCB certified, has a strong understanding of imaging techniques, demonstrates excellent patient care skills, and thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Position Details
+ **Location** : Intermountain Health San Martin Oncology Clinic, Las Vegas, NV
+ **Hours** : PRN (as needed)
+ **Shift Details** : PRN - Fluctuating shift-based department needs
What You’ll Do
+ Perform PET/CT and Nuclear Medicine exams with precision and compassion
+ Verify patient identity, orders, and prepare for imaging procedures
+ Review images for quality and accuracy; maintain compliance with safety standards
+ Adhere to NRC and regulatory guidelines for radiation safety
+ Educate and support patients throughout their imaging experience
+ Mentor students and technologists in imaging techniques and equipment use
+ Maintain accurate documentation per state and Joint Commission requirements

Minimum Qualifications
+ Current state license
+ ARRT or NMTCB certification
+ Basic Life Support (BLS)
+ IV certification
+ 1 year of clinical Nuclear Medicine experience
Preferred Qualifications
+ 1 year of PET/CT experience
+ Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution

Physical Requirements:
+ Ongoing need for employee to see and read information, labels, assess patient needs, operate monitors, identify equipment and supplies.
+ Frequent interactions with patient care providers, patients, and visitors that require employee to verbally communicate as well as hear and understand spoken information, alarms, needs, and issues quickly and accurately, particularly during emergency situations.
+ Manual dexterity of hands and fingers to manipulate complex and delicate equipment with precision and accuracy. This includes frequent computer use and typing for documenting patient care, accessing needed information, medication preparation, etc.
+ Expected to lift and utilize full range of movement to transfer patients. Will also bend to retrieve, lift, and carry supplies and equipment. Typically includes items of varying weights, up to and including heavy items.
+ Need to walk and assist with transporting/ambulating patients and obtaining and distributing supplies and equipment. This includes pushing/pulling gurneys and portable equipment, including heavy items. Often required to navigate crowded and busy rooms (full of equipment, power cords on the floor, etc.)
+ May be expected to stand in a stationary position for an extended period of time.

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
$42.66 - $65.82
