    What We Offer

     

    Novant Health Southern Orthopedics and Sports Medicine is looking for a Radiologic Technologist!

     

    + Location: 851 Leonard Fulghum, Mount Pleasant , South Carolina 29464

    + Status: Full Time

    + Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 7:15am-4:30pm and Friday coverage rotation. No weekends, no major recognized holidays.

     

    Southern Orthopedics & Sports Medicine is a high-volume, specialized practice dedicated to the diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of musculoskeletal injuries and conditions in the foot, ankle, knee, hip, shoulder, and more. Our team includes board-certified orthopedic surgeons and highly skilled PAs/NPs who utilize the latest in surgical and non-operative techniques to help patients quickly return to their activities. This role is integral to providing a smooth, compassionate patient experience in a fast-paced clinical setting.

    What You'll Do

    + Be the skeletal imaging expert: Master the art of advanced orthopedic positioning to capture crystal-clear images (including specialized views and alignment studies).

    + Dynamic team player: Work directly with orthopedic surgeons in the clinic, ER, and OR (C-arm proficiency required) to rapidly diagnose and treat bone and joint issues.

    + Prioritize safety and precision: Deliver optimal diagnostic image quality while strictly adhering to ALARA principles and maintaining a safe patient environment.

    + Streamline care: Manage the complete imaging process, from patient prep and documentation to flawless PACS integration, ensuring efficient patient flow.

     

    What We're Looking For

     

    + Education: 2 Year / Associate Degree, preferred. Graduate of ARRT-approved Radiography Program, required.

    + Experience: One year experience in diagnostic radiology, preferred.

    + Licensure/Certification: NH Independent Diagnostic Testing Facility or Hospital Outpatient Department Certified and registered by ARRT in Radiography - RT(R) Required NH Medical Group Office Certified and registered by ARRT in Radiography - RT(R), required.

    + Additional Skills Required: Thorough knowledge of radiographic equipment and accessories. Analytical ability and basic computer skills. Has knowledge and skills necessary to modify care according to patient(s) age. Has the ability to interpret information to identify each patient’s requirements for care relative to his/her age specific needs. Good communication skills, capable of functioning alone in diagnostic rooms, working knowledge of various types of x-ray equipment, able to adapt to various situations and procedures.

    + Additional Skills Preferred:

    + + NH Medical Registry-eligible in Radiography by ARRT.

    + Certified and registered by ARRT in Radiography - RT (required within 6 months of hire).

    + NH Independent Diagnostic Testing Facility or Hospital Outpatient.

    + Certified and registered by ARRT in Radiography - RT(required).

    + NH Medical Group Certified and registered by ARRT in Radiography - RT(required).
