_What Retail Pharmacy contributes to Cardinal Health_
Pharmacy Operations is responsible for the safe, efficient, and effective coordination of Cardinal Health's pharmacy operations that service acute care hospitals, retail customers, ambulatory care and alternate site facilities, oncology, and cardiology practices, as well as retail customers.
Retail Pharmacy is responsible for ensuring the correct and safe dispensing of prescription medications to the general public, in accordance with legal, ethical, and professional guidelines; may also consult with and advise patients and physicians regarding prescribed and over-the-counter medications.
_Work Schedule_
9:00 AM ET to 5:30 PM ET, Monday to Friday

_Job Summary_
The Pharmacy Technician, Order Fulfillment plays a key role in delivering medication and pharmaceutical care in communities. This includes developing close relationships with patients in communities we serve and assisting the pharmacists in accurately preparing and delivering prescription medication.
_Responsibilities_
+ Assist the Pharmacist in filling prescription orders, as permitted by the State Boards of Pharmacy, including picking, packing, and shipping.
+ Perform a combination of manual and/or automated tasks necessary for the receipt and storage of products.
+ Input patient data and prescription information into pharmacy information management system.
+ Data Entry of prescriptions in pharmacy system.
+ Maintain knowledge of and abide by applicable pharmacy laws and regulations.
_Qualifications_
+ High School diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferred
+ At least 2 years of experience in mail order or retail pharmacy setting, preferred
+ Active Ohio Registration, in good standing
+ Registered or Certified Pharmacy Technician
+ Strong customer service skills
+ Strong typing and data entry skills

+ Work typically involves regular review of output by work lead or supervisor.
+ Refers complex, unusual problems to supervisor.
**Anticipated hourly range:** $18.90 per hour - $24.30 per hour
