Who You Are & The Impact You Will Have:
The **Vice President, Strategy and Planning** will serve as a strategic partner to the Global Business Support Services leadership team. This role is responsible for shaping long-term technology strategy, aligning with enterprise planning, driving performance management (KPIs, OKRs, metrics), and leading executive-level communications and business reviews. The role requires a strong presence, analytical rigor, and the ability to translate complex strategies into compelling narratives for senior stakeholders.
As a key member of the Business Support Services leadership team, the VP will contribute to the broader business and technology strategy as both a thought leader and an operational driver. The VP will lead cross-functional teams and collaborate with senior leadership to embed demand management, agile principles, organizational change management, and enterprise architecture. The VP will report directly to the EVP of Technology. The ideal candidate will have a strategic mindset and entrepreneurial drive enabling them to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
What You Will Do:
Strategic Leadership & Vision
+ Lead enterprise prioritization to ensure technology meets growing enterprise business requirements.
+ Define processes for technology to manage roadmaps, complex business problems, and enterprise architecture.
Enterprise Architecture
+ Define and implement processes for architecture practices and governance. o Lead the delivery and maintenance of the key Enterprise Architecture artifacts and repository.
+ Establishment and maintenance of technology capabilities across the enterprise.
+ Architectural leadership in the resolutions of inter-program and inter-project dependencies.
Demand & Portfolio Management
+ Lead development of resource and capacity management processes that align with resource and value requirements.
+ Define long-term resource needs in collaboration with technology and business teams.
+ Build modeling for staffing, budgeting, and financial management, ensuring alignment with engineering and company goals.
+ Define, align, and measure performance metrics and OKRs to achieve organizational long-term strategies.
+ Lead prioritization of technology initiatives across the organization to drive optimal value.
Organizational Change Management
+ Lead the integration of a comprehensive organizational change management framework into our program management approach, that can be tailored to specific technology initiatives as required.
+ Design and implement detailed change management plans that address communication, training, stakeholder engagement, and readiness activities to ensure successful adoption.
Team Leadership & Development
+ Lead and mentor a high-performing team of Directors and Managers.
+ Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
+ Build organizational capabilities in data management through strategic hiring, training, and development initiatives.
What You Will Need to be Successful:
+ Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree in Business, Technology, or related field preferred.
+ Fifteen or more years of experience in technology strategy, performance management, or enterprise planning roles.
+ Proven track record of leading strategic planning and performance management in a global, matrixed organization.
+ Exceptional communication and storytelling skills, with experience preparing materials for C-level audiences.
+ Strong analytical and financial acumen, with the ability to synthesize data into actionable insights.
+ Experience leading cross-functional teams and influencing without authority.
+ Strong organizational skills to manage deadlines, communicate strategy, and ensure readiness for strategic objectives
+ Structured and methodical, yet adaptable to changing needs and innovation
+ Experience working across diverse teams and enabling change
+ Deep understanding of technology trends, digital transformation, and innovation frameworks.
+ Comfortable navigating ambiguity and driving clarity in complex environments.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word), Smartsheet, and performance dashboards.
+ Comfortable working across global, hybrid, and virtual teams
+ US Citizenship for this position is required by law due to federal customer contracts.
