BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee is hiring a **Director of LTSS Service Operations and CHOICES** \. In this critical role, you’ll lead the development, coordination, implementation, and completion of large projects for BlueCare LTSS \(Long Term Services & Supports\) operations and CHOICES programs at BCBST\. Our ideal candidate will serve as a thought leader and LTSS subject matter expert, bringing fresh perspectives on the ways we support our members and providers and translating enterprise objectives into program improvements\.

Note: We are a remote\-first organization, but this role will require at least quarterly travel across Tennessee \(Nashville, Chattanooga\)\. **Additionally, qualified candidates will need to reside in Tennessee** \(or be open to relocation here\)\.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

+ Setting performance standards to meet goals of organization\. Coaching team\(s\) to achieve performance goals and objectives\.

+ Providing mentoring and professional development for the department; developing procedures and policies to enhance and improve operational processes\.

+ Developing and implementing procedures to deliver effective service for internal and external customers, ensuring compliance with standards and contractual obligations, and monitoring customer satisfaction levels\.

+ Providing feedback to the organization regarding operational outcomes, effectiveness, and efficiencies\. Ensuring project and initiatives for process improvement are successful\.

+ Manages all aspects of program implementation to ensure projects are implemented, accepted and accomplished within set deadlines\.

+ Organizes and coordinate processes and procedures for all project teams to follow within the program\. Sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors and summarizes progress of project/program\.

Job Qualifications

_Education_

+ Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience required\. Equivalent experience is defined as 4 years of professional work experience in a corporate environment\.

_Experience_

+ 7 years \- Experience in a project and/or program management role required\.

+ 5 years \- Leadership experience managing multiple, cross\-functional teams required

+ 3 years \- Experience with medical management systems, practice management systems or other related systems required\.

+ 3 years \- Medicaid experience required\.

_Skills/Certifications_

+ Proficient in Microsoft Office \(Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint\)

+ This individual must be comfortable with professionally challenging key stakeholders at all levels of the organization\.

+ Ability to lead and motivate cross\-functional, interdisciplinary teams to achieve tactical and strategic goals\.

+ Ability to work independently on multiple tasks involving critical deadlines with little or no supervision as well as part of a team

+ Excellent oral and written communication skills

+ Strong interpersonal and organizational skills

+ Outstanding negotiation, presentation, and facilitation skills\.

+ Ability to act as a mentor
