About our team
We are a dynamic, dedicated team that provides management and support for a global guarding services account that
spans across 30+ countries. Our client is an industry-leading datacenter organization, and we pride ourselves on delivering
best-in-class solutions through our teams made up of Security Operations, Business Operations, Shared Services, Threat
and Incident Management, Environmental Health and Safety, and Human Resources. As part of this team, you’ll be part of
our leadership team and work alongside a group of professionals that are committed to excellence and innovation.
About the role
The Director of Shared Services (DOSS) oversees a global team supporting the worldwide security operations team that
protects the critical datacenter infrastructure for a complex, multi-hundred-million-dollar client account. This leader
manages multiple service pillars, including Project Management, Business Reporting, Technical Communications, Logistics,
Training and Compliance, to enable the work of our security operations team. This role provides executive-level direction,
aligns Securitas and client objectives, and drives program performance, service delivery, and global consistency across all
regions. This role requires a forward-thinking professional with a strong command of security operations, a passion for
operational excellence, and the ability to lead and inspire high-performing teams in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
What you’ll do
In this role, you’ll strategically align and operationalize shared services initiatives to support global datacenter security
operations. You’ll advise senior leaders, oversee program goals and deliverables, and ensure SLAs and KPIs are
consistently met. Responsibilities include managing and developing staff performance, improving processes, building
strong client and internal relationships, and fostering cross-functional collaboration across time zones. You’ll also lead
program-wide initiatives that promote efficiency and innovation, create executive-level reports and presentations, and
ensure consistent communication across all teams. As the key contact for Shared Services-related matters, you’ll help
shape the strategic direction of the organization while maintaining a high standard of service delivery.
What you need to apply
We are looking for a seasoned professional that has a bachelor’s degree in business, management, or a related field, with
10+ years of progressive leadership experience in multi-disciplinary shared service functions, including at least 3–5 years
at the director level. Global, multi-region operations experience is required and a background in datacenters is preferred.
This position requires strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills, as well as the ability to influence without
direct authority and build relationships at all organizational levels.
The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, effective communicator, and results-oriented leader capable of driving
performance in a fast-paced, global environment with demonstrated success in aligning shared services strategy with
operational and business goals.
This position involves domestic and international travel (approximately 30% of the time), so a passion for travel (and a
valid passport) is essential. This role will also require flexibility to work nights and weekends (when needed) to support
global staffing issues, high priority events, and off-hours incidents.
All applicants to this role must have reliable means of communication, reliable means of transportation (public or private)
to get to/from work, the legal right to work in the country where the position is located, and the ability to speak, read and
write in English proficiently.
What you’ll get
We believe great work deserves great rewards—and we’re committed to staying competitive. This role offers a base salary
of $200,000 to $230,000. That range is based on the Greater Seattle Area and may flex depending on your experience and location.
