    Overview:

    Data & AI Governance Analyst will support and assist adoption, of the Enterprise-wide Data & AI Governance Program. This role is responsible for contributing to establishment and sustainability of the governance program through the creation and implementation of data governance standards, supporting implementation plans and procedures, and to provide training and support, to peers and business units..

You will work closely with privacy, compliance, architecture teams, as well as business stakeholders, data consumers, data producers, and data engineering to assist in the development appropriate controls, processes, governance guidance.

    Responsibilities include but not limited to:

    + Contribute to the enterprise Data & AI governance roadmap across various domains like Customer, Flight Ops, CX, Digital, Loyalty, Finance, HR, etc.

    + Participate in the selection, implementation and adoption of the enterprise-wide data catalog, data quality and data observability solutions

    + Ensure the development of a data products marketplace

    + Develop and assist business and IT units in the implementation of AI governance standards, policies and frameworks, ensuring AI systems are ethical, fair, transparent, and compliant with applicable laws and regulations

    + Assist in the creation and maintenance of key governance roles such as Business data Owner, Data Steward, Technical Steward.

    + Collaborate with data producers and consumers to set data quality expectations, SLAs and monitoring requirements

    + Work with business leaders and business analysts to ensure metrics are defined and agreed

    + Collaborate with leadership across the organization to identify business needs and implement Data & AI Governance and Stewardship capabilities

    + Ensure Data & AI Governance and Stewardship processes are aligned with appropriate enterprise processes

    What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)

    + Bachelor’sdegree in Science, Statistics, Engineering, Business Administration or similarfield of study or 10 years equivalent related experience

    + 5+years of experience of data governance expertise

    + Knowledgeof data governance practices, business and technology issues related tomanagement of enterprise information assets and approaches related to dataprotection

    + Experiencein creating relevant relationships with peer partners, business and IT leaders,SMEs, and technologists

    + Experiencein creating data governance policies, standard, processes, and implementationplans

    + Experienceimplementing and utilizing data catalog tooling such as Collibra, Alation,Unity, DataZone etc.

    + Knowledgeof AI & ML observability and guardrail tools and techniques such as modeldrift management

    + Abilityto translate business requirements into critical data dependencies andrequirements

    + Experiencewith Data Governance Guiding Bodies such as Data Governance Council

    + Experienceassisting business units with standards implementation plans

    + Familiaritywith Data Domain organization/taxonomy, and Master Data Management concepts

    + Abilityto work collaboratively across teams

    + Understandingof the origins of data quality definition, rules, and controls

    + Abilityto communicate effectively via multiple channels (verbal, written, etc.) withtechnical and non-technical staff

    + Abilityto routinely interact with multiple levels of the organization includingexecutive level members of the organization

    + Abilityto work with the data warehouse users, IT Business Analysts and all levels ofthe organization including senior leadership

    + Confidenceto dive into data, understand it inside out and how it connects to ourstakeholders businesses

    + Solidbusiness acumen, and critical problem-solving ability, with a capacity forstrategic thinking

    + Extremelystrong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to communicatetechnical concepts clearly

     

    What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications)

     

    Bachelor’s degree in Science, Statistics, Engineering, Business Administration or similar field of study or 10 years equivalent related experience

     

    5+ years of experience of data governance expertise

     

    Knowledge of data governance practices, business and technology issues related to management of enterprise information assets and approaches related to data protection

     

    Experience in creating relevant relationships with peer partners, business and IT leaders, SMEs, and technologists

     

    Experience in creating data governance policies, standard, processes, and implementation plans

     

    Experience implementing and utilizing data catalog tooling such as Collibra, Alation, Unity, DataZone etc.

     

    Knowledge of AI & ML observability and guardrail tools and techniques such as model drift management

     

    Ability to translate business requirements into critical data dependencies and requirements

     

    Experience with Data Governance Guiding Bodies such as Data Governance Council

     

    Experience assisting business units with standards implementation plans

     

    Familiarity with Data Domain organization/taxonomy, and Master Data Management concepts

     

    Ability to work collaboratively across teams
