How you'll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities)
Sr. TPE– Crew is a skilled analyst and technical leader. The
Sr. TPE is responsible for aligning technology solutions with business
strategies by communicating and clarifying business needs, contributing to
development of long-range plans, and ensuring technology products and services
are aligned with business needs across multiple business units, 3rd party and
partner domains. The Sr. TPE must be self-motivated, responsive, and detail
oriented with excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.
Duties
include but are not limited to:
+ Drive discussions around new and emerging platforms and help determine the best way to utilize new technologies to build business solutions.
+ Synthesize current state processes, operating models, and ways of working in order to define new, digitally oriented clarity on requirements. The role will work across a diverse stakeholder group, driving consensus, and creating a shared understanding of detailed requirements in conjunction with technical delivery
+ Responsible for conducting complex and thorough research of existing processes, systems, systems logic, and desired objectives to develop detailed systems specifications to meet the objectives of the assigned projects.
+ Prioritizing and sequencing the backlog of epics/features/user stories according to business value, throughout the release and sprint planning cycles.
+ Meet with business teams when needed and perform an initial assessment of a problematic situations
+ Collect information about the business process through a variety of methods (shadowing, interviews, surveys, reading reports etc.)
+ Provide strategic support to customers in defining or designing business processes and help to identify technologies based on customer requirements
+ Coordinate multi-system solutions to clarify interdependencies so that systems appear seamless to the customer
+ Extensive knowledge of product and software development techniques and agile methodologies
What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)
+ 3 - 5 years of hands-onexperience as a Technical Product Engineer, product owner or equivalent.
+ Knowledge of concept andprinciples of agile methodology; ability to apply appropriate agileapproaches in the processes of software development and delivery.
+ Knowledge of productfeatures; ability to design, build, and develop a new product, technology,or service from feasibility through to production.
+ Knowledge of tools, methods,and techniques of requirement analysis; ability to elicit, analyze andrecord required business functionality and non-functionality requirementsto ensure the success of a system or software development project.
+ Strong written, oralcommunication, and social skills
+ Must have excellent planningand organizational skills, strong verbal, written communication, andfacilitation skills.
+ Must be performingsatisfactorily in present position.
+ Consistently prioritizessafety and security of self, others, and personal data.
+ Embraces diverse people,thinking, and styles.
+ Possesses a high schooldiploma, GED, or high school equivalency.
+ Is at least 18 years of ageand has authorization to work in the United States.
What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications)
+ Solid Understanding ofAgile/SDLC development methodologies
+ DevOps experience includingthe use of use of Enterprise Agile planning solutions such as Agility.Alor similar.
+ Previous experience as aproduct Subject Matter Expert including ownership for its development andperformance.
+ Flexibility to adapt and planfor changing business objectives.
+ Airline business experience,as well as business process re-engineering and/or extensive experienceworking with agile teams, is desirable
