    About the role

     

    Responsible for overall management of the servicing of multiple portfolios of commercial mortgage loans using fundamental concepts, practices and procedures associated with commercial real estate finance.

     

    This job is part of the Portfolio Management job function. They are responsible for managing portfolios for a large global technology company within a specific region. Some travel may be required within the United States.

    What you’ll do

    + Responsible for monitoring the performance of assigned loan portfolios.

    + Serve as a primary contact and as an intermediary between master servicers, special servicers, commercial lenders, rating agencies and borrowers.

    + Provide overall customer service to lenders and borrowers.

    + Review and prepare recommendations for lender consent items such as leases, loan assumptions and numerous other real estate related issues.

    + Review and interpret loan documents and monitor compliance with loan servicing agreements.

    + Manage and review monthly Watch list reports and any other lender specific reporting requirements.

    + Participate in conference calls with lenders directing certificate holders and/or special servicers updating them on Watch list loans and other specific investor requests.

    + Guide employees in a formal supervisory role. Coordinate the training and development of staff. Conduct performance evaluations and mentor. Lead all aspects of the recruiting and hiring of new employees.

    + Coordinate and manage the team's daily activities. Establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff. Set and track staff and department deadlines. Mentor and coach as needed.

    + Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university and 5 years industry experience; or 7-to-10 years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge of the commercial loan servicing industry.

    + Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers. Ability to effectively present information. Ability to respond effectively to sensitive issues.

    + Requires advanced knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts, and commissions. Conducts advanced financial analysis.

    + Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex documents. Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations. Requires advanced analytical and quantitative skills.

    + Proficient in Microsoft Suite Products including: Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook. Experienced in using loan servicing database system (McCracken Strategy preferred).

    + Decisions made with thorough understanding of procedures, company policies, and business practices to achieve general results and timelines. Responsible for setting work unit and/or project timelines. Errors in judgment may cause short-term impact to department.

    CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Regional Portfolio Management Manager position is $110,000 annually and the maximum salary for the Regional Portfolio Management Manager position is $150,000 annually. The compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on their skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program. This role will provide the following benefits: 401(K), Dental insurance, Health insurance, Life insurance, and Vision insurance.
