    Job Summary:

    Methodist Healthcare System and Texas Transplant Physician Group is seeking Acute Care Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants to support our transplant hepatologists and our liver transplant program in San Antonio, Texas.

    Job Details:

    + Employed opportunity with competitive salary driven by MGMA data and industry benchmarking

    + Experience: Acute care required

    + Liver disease or chronic disease management is ideal, however, it is not required

    + Mentorship and support while working with the world-class liver transplant team

    + Formulate a plan of care for inpatient and outpatient care as indicated for organ disease and transplant patients

    Qualified Candidates:

    + Completion of accredited nurse practitioner or physician assistant program

    + Texas licensed or eligible

    + New APP grads welcome to apply

    + The Liver Disease and Transplant Program at Texas Transplant Institute, on the campus of Methodist Specialty and Transplant Hospital, is nationally recognized for its successful outcomes

    + Consistently ranked Best in Texas for survival rates greater than 95% for one-year and three-year survival

    + Since the program’s founding in 2001, the expert medical staff have completed over 700+ liver transplants

    + On a percentage basis, we have transplanted more medically urgent patients than any other transplant program in Texas
