    Our client, a leading technology organization specializing in hardware emulation and prototyping solutions, is seeking a dedicated Datacenter Engineer to join their team. As a Datacenter Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering Operations supporting the Virtual Bring-Up (VBU) central methodology team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.

     

    **Job Title:** Datacenter Engineer

    **Location:** Austin, TX (onsite)

     

    What's the Job?

     

    + Administer and maintain LSF/Slurm workload managers, analyzing job data, and handling user requests and incidents.

    + Support and manage multiple/distributed clusters both on-premises and in cloud environments.

    + Coordinate with IT teams to deploy new hardware and resolve infrastructure issues.

    + Work with external vendors to plan, configure, and deploy new hardware and software solutions.

    + Maintain hardware, configure management tools, and support data center infrastructure to accommodate growth and ensure operational efficiency.

     

    What's Needed?

     

    + Experience with LSF and Slurm administration and usage.

    + Strong knowledge of Unix/Linux administration, configuration, and driver installation.

    + Experience managing enterprise-level emulation or prototyping systems.

    + Ability to manage physical lab or data center space efficiently.

    + Focus on continuous improvement to optimize hardware resource utilization.
