    Our client, a leader in the energy and industrial sector, is seeking a Contracts Lead II to join their team. As a Contracts Lead II, you will be part of the Procurement Department supporting contract management and procurement operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong negotiation skills, strategic thinking, and effective communication, which will align successfully in the organization.

     

    **Job Title:** Contracts Lead II

    **Location:** Spring, TX

     

    Pay Range:55-60/hr

     

    What's the Job?

     

    + Manage a portfolio of agreements and new requests to ensure efficient procurement of goods and services from purchase to pay processes.

    + Negotiate contract pricing, terms, and conditions directly with suppliers while collaborating with internal stakeholders to seek the lowest total system costs and mitigate supply and legal risks.

    + Execute procurement processes in full compliance with company policies and procurement standards.

    + Maintain and update agreement portfolios, including scope, pricing, and amendments, ensuring contract compliance and optimal utilization.

    + Monitor supplier performance, troubleshoot issues, and develop strategies for continuous improvement and business value realization.

     

    What's Needed?

     

    + Experience in contract negotiation, management, and procurement processes.

    + Strong understanding of procurement tools and systems, with the ability to leverage them effectively.

    + Excellent analytical, communication, and relationship management skills.

    + Knowledge of legal and supply chain risk mitigation strategies.

    + Ability to develop and implement strategic and commercial guidance within procurement categories.
