As an Access Control Officer at a leading chemical and petrochemical location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, verifying credentials, and maintaining a visible presence. What You'll Do:

+ Control access to the location by verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized individuals only.

+ Monitor and operate security-related equipment to identify and report any unusual activity or potential hazards within the facility.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols both inside the business and along the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access or suspicious behavior.

+ Respond in a calm, problem-solving manner to incidents and critical situations as they arise, following established protocols.

+ Provide customer service by addressing questions or concerns from visitors and employees in a professional manner.

+ Maintain accurate records and documentation of incidents, access control activities, and any observations relevant to operations.

+ Follow all site-specific policies and procedures, including those related to handling hazardous materials, as appropriate for a chemical and petrochemical environment.

+ Participate in emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal and site management.

Minimum Requirements:

+ A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.

+ A Transportation Security Administration issued Transportation Worker Identification Credential is required.

+ A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.

+ The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
