Under the direction of the Controller, the Staff Accountant/Payroll Specialist is responsible for managing and processing the health system#s payroll as well as financial and statistical reporting. #The Staff Accountant is responsible for back-up daily close functions. #Works closely with Patient Financial Services, Department Directors and the Administrative Staff. #Periodic contact with all hospital personnel, external audit and/or regulatory agencies. #Processes information on the Center#s Health Information System as required in performing job responsibilities.
