As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail and mall locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible to guests and staff, and provide outstanding customer service through positive interactions. This role requires driving as part of your responsibilities. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as needed.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.

+ Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or policy violations as required by Allied Universal and site protocols.

+ Assist with access control, verifying credentials and monitoring entrances and exits in accordance with site guidelines.

+ Communicate clearly and promptly with Allied Universal management and/or client representatives regarding any incidents or special situations.

+ Support emergency response activities, such as evacuations or medical response, following established procedures specific to the retail environment.

+ Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and patrols in required reports or logs.

Minimum Requirements:

+ At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.

+ A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Loss prevention experience is preferred.

+ Access control or badge experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
