As a **Security Guard - Retail Patrol Driver** in **Rochester, NY** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a retail environment, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a welcoming atmosphere for customers and staff. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, staying visible throughout the location, and providing exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as required.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner within the retail environment.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.

+ Observe and report any unusual activity or conditions that may impact the location or its operations.

+ Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points as directed by site policies.

+ Support a welcoming environment for employees, customers, and visitors while maintaining a visible Allied Universal presence.

+ Collaborate with site personnel and local emergency services when necessary.

Minimum Requirements:

+ A valid New York State Security Guard License is required.

+ A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ A Guard Card or license is preferred.

+ This position is primarily a driving post, which is preferred.

+ Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
