As a **Security Officer - Patrol Driver** in **Clayton, NC** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors. Your visible presence will help to deter security-related incidents, while your strong communication skills will support positive engagement with all individuals onsite. This is an unarmed, driving post, so you will be responsible for conducting patrols in a vehicle as needed. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service to clients by performing security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and when appropriate, participating in emergency response activities within a healthcare environment.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting staff, visitors, and/or patients as needed.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.

+ Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or activity on the premises.

+ Complete required reports and documentation of incidents, observations, and/or activities as directed by Allied Universal and client site protocols.

+ Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and/or patients to address inquiries and provide direction as needed.

+ Work in various environments and conditions, adapting to the specific needs of the healthcare location.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Must be at least 21 years of age.

+ A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Access control or badge experience is preferred.

+ CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
