As a **Security Officer - Unarmed Chemical Site Patrol** in **Sugar Land, TX** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting visible patrols throughout a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location. Your role involves monitoring assigned areas, interacting with personnel and visitors, and providing outstanding customer service while upholding our values of integrity, teamwork, and innovation. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, which may include chemical and petrochemical processing areas, storage facilities, and other operational zones within the location.

+ Observe for and report irregularities, including suspicious activities, hazardous conditions, or maintenance issues in the facility.

+ Work closely with site personnel and Allied Universal management to communicate incidents or concerns in a timely manner.

+ Assist with access control duties by checking credentials and helping to monitor entry and exit points as required by site protocols.

+ Support emergency response efforts during drills and/or actual events, including coordination with local first responders if needed.

Minimum Requirements:

+ At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.

+ A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.

+ A guard card or license is preferred.

+ Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.

+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
