What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies as directed by Allied Universal.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following protocols established for the location.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.

+ Report security-related incidents, hazards, and unusual occurrences according to established procedures.

+ Support emergency response activities as needed, including communicating with site management and emergency services if required.

+ Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unauthorized individuals from accessing restricted areas within the facility.

+ Document observations and interactions as required by Allied Universal and client procedures.

+ Collaborate with site personnel to address concerns related to security-related matters within the manufacturing and industrial environment.

Minimum Requirements:

+ A valid New York State Security Guard License is required.

+ CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
