As a **Security Officer - Access Control Specialist** in **Lavonia, GA** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a leading manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor entry points, check badges, and conduct regular patrols to help deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

+ Assist with controlling access to the location by verifying credentials and/or authorization for entry.

+ Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and report any suspicious activity.

+ Provide customer service by responding to inquiries and assisting visitors at the location.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and surrounding perimeter to help to deter security-related incidents.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific policies and procedures.

+ Document and report all security-related incidents, issues, or concerns as outlined in site-specific protocols.

+ Support Allied Universal management and site leadership in carrying out emergency response activities as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Access control or badge experience is preferred.

+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
