    We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Technical Program Manager to champion developer experience across AWS. In this role, you will work cross-functionally to provide feedback, write product proposals, and build programs to enhance the developer journey across AWS.

     

    Key job responsibilities

     

    - Work closely with the developer advocates, community managers, and AWS service teams to identify the top customer pain points and needed improvements across all AWS properties.

     

    - Lead the interactions with engineering and product teams across the AWS service teams to help them make trade-offs based on customer requirements.

     

    - Keep projects on track through clear task list, issue tracking, status reports, and meeting notes.

     

    - Influence senior leaders across AWS, and communicate changes, issues, and resolutions clearly to all stakeholders.

     

    A day in the life

     

    Your day revolves around obsessing over developer experience for AWS through hands-on evaluation and strategic collaboration. You'll dive deep into friction points that could impact thousands of developers. You regularly present developer experience insights to leadership while engaging with the broader developer community to gather real-time feedback.

    We are developers who advocate for tools that help developers, focused on creating content that solves practical development challenges. Our mission is to demonstrate how development tools integrate naturally into existing workflows while delivering measurable improvements. We work directly with the developer community to understand real pain points and collaborate with product and engineering teams to improve developer experience by bringing community feedback into product development.

    Basic Qualifications

    - 5+ years of technical product or program management experience

     

    - 5+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience

     

    - 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience

     

    - 3+ years of analytical, quantitative, communication, and presentations experience

     

    - Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules

    Preferred Qualifications

    - 7+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience

     

    - Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules

     

    - Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership

    Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $231,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
