    Job Responsibilities:

    * Assemble electromechanical components following detailed work instructions, drawings, and wiring diagrams.

    * Operate production, testing, and high-powered magnet equipment safely and effectively.

    * Use calibrated mechanical tools such as torque wrenches, micrometers, and calipers.

    * Troubleshoot assembly issues and recommend process improvements.

    * Perform precision soldering, wiring, epoxy potting, injection molding, and vacuum system tasks.

    * Collaborate with engineers to refine manufacturing processes and improve product quality.

    * Weld metallic structures and tooling using GMAW, GTAW, SMAW, and related welding methods.

    * Read and interpret blueprints, take detailed measurements, and plan welding layouts.

    Required Qualifications:

    * 3-4 years of hands-on TIG welding experience (manual, not automatic/semi-automatic).

    * Experience with small, precise welds - micro or fine-detail welding (e.g., medical, aerospace, or tooling components).

    * Proficiency in stainless steel and copper welding.

    * Must be open to performing both welding and assembly work - flexibility between roles is essential.

    * Strong ability to read and interpret technical documents, blueprints, and schematics.

    * Skilled in the use of a variety of hand tools, power tools, and precision measurement devices.

    * Documented training or certifications in welding processes (GMAW, GTAW, SMAW) preferred.

    Physical and Work Environment Requirements:

    * Ability to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.

    * Comfortable with activities such as stooping, typing, standing, and sitting for extended periods.

    * Commitment to safety in environments that may involve heat, cold, noise, fumes, strong magnets, lead (Pb), high voltage, and cryogenics.

    * Willingness to work occasional nights, weekends, or on-call shifts as needed.
